Bayport Uganda to the rescue
Our families meet our family
The heavy rains that lashed Uganda in March and April this year caused much damage. The Kasese District in western Uganda was particularly badly affected by the floods that also claimed a number of lives.
The wards and staff quarters of the Kilembe Hospital in Kasese District were among the buildings damaged in the downpours. Knowing that Kilembe is an important health facility serving locals in the area, and that many people who had lost their homes in the floods would seek refuge there, Bayport Uganda contributed UGX 700,000 towards emergency renovations.
